Inspiring future generations through the local actions of planting fruit trees!
The ReGen Roots Food Forest Project raises fruit trees that are planted in community orchards & food forests around New England!
In 2024, ReGen Roots raised 347 apple, peach, pear, and plum trees along with 35 berry bushes that were planted in 42 community orchards in New Hampshire, Maine, and Massachusetts! We were able to collaborative with some great organizations to help distribute the trees among community growers, including the Northeast Organic Farmer’s Association of NH (i.e. NOFA-NH); the Kearsarge Food Hub in Bradford, NH; Mill City Grows from Lowell, MA; & Cultivating Community, Portland, ME!
In 2025, we are raising over 500+ apple, pear, peach, and plum trees at our nurseries in NH that will be planted in community orchards & food forests around New England with collaborative partners!
Our long-term goal is to plant 10,000+ trees in New England over the next decade in hundreds of community orchards & food forests, resulting in almost a million pounds of healthy food produced around the region over the next 30-100 years, providing multi-generational impact!
